Hi Dave,

Well, kind of. It seems that Mac users with the newer EndNote X9.1 version have suddenly found that Google Scholar export to EndNote has fallen over. Instead of getting a reference when you try and open a .enw file, you get an error message that your 'library is being used by someone else', even when it isn't.

I think it's probably up to EndNote and/or Google Scholar to fix this problem, but in the meanwhile there is a workaround. Instead of pressing the EndNote export option in Google Scholar, choose Refman. Refman creates a .ris export file, and this kind of file is readable by EndNote and seems to not have the issues opening that .enw does.

Once this issue is resolved we'll let you know right here.

Thanks!

David
