Am I allowed to show my sibling and or parents around the uni?

My siblings and parents have asked if they are allowed to see the Uni. Im not sure if they are allowed to. Also are siblings allowed to study with me on the weeknd at uni?

Hi Lachlan,

Generally if you talk to the the security staff and explain that you have family members with you and would like to just show them around the library they'll let you in.

If you'd like to have your sibling study with you though it's probably better to organize day access, which you can do by getting them to fill out this form - https://www.lib.uts.edu.au/borrow/membership/day-visitors. However, since earlier this year we've changed our day visitor policy so that this day visitor membership only applies on weekdays. For weekend study you could potentially study together in the green space beneath the library or perhaps at the student hub in building 2 next to the tower (and probably lots of other locations around campus too).
