Hi Alex,

Generally you don't need to reference a photo you took, as the photo is part of the work you are creating, rather than a published work you are drawing on and thus referring the reader to. instead you would just label what it was and, if you wanted to, indicate that the photo was taken by you (ie: caption the photo something like 'photo by the author'), just so people know it's not supposed to be referenced.
