If you are feeling like you could do with some advice, listen to the Student Learning Hub podcast - UTS Student Hacks: A weekly podcast bringing you the best tips, resources and study hacks on offer each week.

As a UTS student we understand that your student experience is unique, with classes taking on a new life online, less time on campus and around classmates, and fewer opportunities to just come into the Library to ask a quick question.

To support you, UTS Library is:

  • Increasing online chat and phone support (+61 2 9514 3666) with our librarians who can assist you with:
    • Understanding your assignment question
    • Finding resources
    • Knowing how to critique information
    • Referencing 
  • Growing our online collection of:
  • Offering all our workshops, training, and events via Zoom.
  • Providing a requesting and a safe pick-up service at the entrance of our Library.
  • Equipping you with online resources including:
  • Extending borrowing periods for Reserve items and laptops (24 hours)
  • Continuing automatic renewals on existing loans, removing the recall function, and waiving of fines so you don't need to come to campus
  • Cleaning and quarantining books before making them available for loan
  • Working with teaching staff to embed useful resources and training in your online learning ensuring as many texts/readings as possible are available online for you to access from home

We will continue to work with you to ensure you are supported in your studies, and your student experience is the best it can be.
