Week 1 - Mental Health Week Practices

October 6th: Equanimity - mindfulness of breath + thoughts

These practices will support you in learning:

  • how to use the body's sensations to ground into presence
  • how to effectively slow down the central nervous system
  • how to bring compassionate thoughts into a meditation practice

These sessions are about you, it is your time to relax and re-centre. Make yourself comfortable by sitting in your favourite chair, and feel welcome to keep your camera off. Please feel welcome to engage in questions at the end.
