The Library has study spaces, supplies, snacks and exam support to help you make the most out of your time studying on campus during exams and end-of-session assignments.
Refuel with free snacks
Collect your FREE snacks to help you stay energised and fully stocked as you study. Think tea, coffee, fruit, biscuits and sweets, and you can even grab yourself a set of earplugs to help you get fully in the study zone! Pick up your free exam survival supplies:
- between 8am to 10pm, at UTS Library, level 7 from week 10 (28 April) of Autumn session, throughout StuVac and the exam period.
Find your place to study
Spaces available across UTS Central for a mixture of quiet and group study include:
- UTS Library, levels 7-9 for computer access and quiet areas
- UTS Reading Room, levels 5-6 for silent study
- UTS Central levels 4-7 for collaborative and quiet study
Additional collaborative classrooms will be opened and available for you to study in across levels 4-7 from Monday, 18 May:

If you're after a study space away from the hustle and bustle of UTS Central, check out the Library's newest study space in Building 7, level 2. You'll find a kitchen, bookable study rooms and collaborative study tables with plenty of powerpoints!
The spaces listed above are not suitable for sitting online exams.
Limited spaces are available to complete centrally conducted exams on-campus for students in exceptional circumstances. Speak to your subject coordinator for more information and to make arrangements if this applies to you.
Take a break from study to recharge
Take some time to zone out and relax between study and exams.
- Drop into the wellbeing focused space on level 4 of UTS Central between 10am-4pm weekdays for daily drop-in activities like art therapy and mindfulness as well as comfy low-sensory zones to chill out and friendly faces ready to support you.
- Recharge your devices at the Library with cables available for loan from the Library Express kiosk on level 4.
- Recline with a book from the Library’s growing fiction collection in the Cosy Corner on level 7 or via the Library catalogue.
- Kanopy and cuddle … pick from hundreds of contemporary film, TV, and media resources on Kanopy and Informit EduTV available from the Library catalogue.
