From week 3 of Autumn session (Monday 4 March) bookable consultations with the Library and HELPS are available online and in person on level 7 of UTS Library (inside the Library gates). Get instant advice and help while you study, complete your assignments, or conduct research.

  • Monday to Friday from 11am to 5pm.
  • Book a consultation in advance or drop by and book-in on the spot.
  • Running weeks 3 to mid-session StuVac of Autumn session (Monday 4 March to Friday 19 April, 2024).

Talk to a librarian for help with:

  • starting an assignment,
  • the best research strategies for your assignments,
  • referencing and referencing software,
  • finding subject-specific information and resources,
  • accessing Library resources.

Talk to HELPS for assistance with:

  • starting an assignment,
  • unpacking assignment questions and marking criteria,
  • writing and language support,
  • improving English speaking.

Further assistance

  • Chat to someone from the Library for assistance finding and accessing resources and referencing.
  • Visit or contact UTS HELPS who provide drop-in writing assistance (daily in CB01.05.25), 1:1 consultations, and an online writing review.
  • Visit the Library on level 7 for assistance with borrowing and general Library enquiries.
  • Find information on all UTS services for students via the supporting study portal.
