Witness the transformation of C.U.L.T
Deborah Kelly, the 2025 UTS Library Creative in Residence, invites you to celebrate the finalisation of C.U.L.T (Collage Using Library Things)—a project that explored the radical act of reclaiming and reimagining discarded materials.
- Colour Using Library Things: Take some time to relax and colour in discarded books amongst the echoes of still-active books in the Reading Room.
- Compose Using Library Things: Using pre-cut pieces created through the 2025 residency, re-curate and compose the pieces into their next life as collage.
- Witness the transformation: See the final transformation of Deborah's work into rugs embedded throughout the Library, a reminder of the sacred act of re-imagining that happened with our community here.
Where: Reading Room, level 6
When: Until 14 August 2026
