The latest version of the referencing software EndNote is now available free for UTS students.
EndNote 2025 keeps the look and feel of the previous version (EndNote 21), but there are a few new features that may improve your overall experience:
AI Document Summaries
If you upload a PDF to EndNote, its AI function will provide you with a short summary (requires EndNote Web).
Cite from PDF
The Copy Quote and Citation option allows you to copy text from a PDF and then paste the text into your writing as a quote, along with an in-text reference:
Find Full Text Options
You can now search for reference updates and for the full text of a reference using the Tools option, found within the Edit window.
Additional functionality for Web of Science Articles
Web of Science articles now offer additional functionality in EndNote, including linking you to Citing Articles (requires Web of Science account).
