Canvas, UTS's learning management system is currently unavailable.
We recognise this is a difficult time for students, especially with assessments approaching and that disruptions like this can add stress when you’re trying to finish assignments, access subject information, or prepare for upcoming assessments.
Library access remains available
UTS Library services and online resources remain accessible through the Library website, these include:
- Reading Lists: access your Subject Reading Lists directly via lib.uts.edu.au/reading-list
If prompted, login via Library Okta as usual and select the "Reading Lists" tile - Online resources, databases, journal articles and e-books
- Study support resources including study guides and assignment guides.
To access assignment guides, select BY TYPE then Assignment group heading. - Referencing guides
- Library Chat where staff can help with locating academic resources, using the Library, referencing, and completing your assignments
- In-person support in the Library
If you’re unsure how to proceed while Canvas is unavailable, Library staff can help you identify alternative pathways to key resources and suggest strategies to keep your work moving.
Further updates will be provided here as they come available.
Take a break or get support
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, take a break at the Wellbeing Lounge (Level 4, UTS Central), a calm, low‑sensory space to recharge and reset. If you would like to speak with someone, the UTS Counselling Service offers free, confidential support for students; you can phone 02 9514 1177 or email student.services [at] uts.edu.au to make an appointment, and if you’re seeking urgent support, let the receptionist know when you contact them.
