Adobe Illustrator is an industry standard software used to create vector-based graphics such as logos, illustrations and signage. These vector-based graphics have wide ranging applications, from websites and social media through to merchandise and brand design.
This 90-minute course is perfect for beginners to Illustrator and those who already understand the program but are looking for a new approach or to learn about newly released features.
Follow along in this hands-on class to learn how to:
- Navigate and customize the Adobe Illustrator interface
- Create a vector image using a variety of techniques
- Save your vector illustrations as Symbols to reuse and remix them into unique patterns
- Apply your newly created image to a variety of marketing formats using the Mock-Up panel.
- Create a 3D image.
- Save an image for screen and print outputs.
You will need to bring your FDS Student Card to access the computer labs in Building 6.
Adobe Creative Cloud software is available on most UTS computers, and will be available on UTS computers during the session.
