From week 1 of Spring session (Monday 1 Aug 2022) drop in consultations with the Library and HELPS are available on level 7 of UTS Library (inside the Library gates). Get instant advice and help while you study, complete your assignments, or conduct research. No bookings required, simply drop in for a free consultation.

Drop by for a consultation with a librarian

Every Monday to Thursday from 12 to 4pm.  Running weeks 1 to 4 of Spring session (Monday 1 Aug to Thursday 25 Aug, 2022).

Talk to a librarian for help with:

  • the best research strategies for your assignments
  • referencing and referencing software
  • finding subject-specific information and resources
  • accessing Library resources.

Drop by for a consultation with HELPS

Weekdays from 12 to 6pm during Spring session (Monday 1 Aug to Friday 28 Oct, 2022).

Talk to HELPS for assistance with:

  • starting an assignment
  • understanding the question and marking criteria
  • writing and speaking support
  • improving English speaking.

Drop by the Study Help desk for instant advice

Weekdays from 12 to 4pm during week 4 of Spring session (Monday 22 to Friday 26 August) at the Student Learning Hub (Building 2, level 4).

Talk to the friendly student guides at the Study Help desk for advice on where to get help with your assignments or study.

Further assistance

  • Chat to someone from the Library for assistance finding and accessing resources and referencing.
  • Visit or contact UTS HELPS who provide drop-in writing assistance (daily in CB01.05.25), 1:1 consultations, and the Writing Centre.
  • Visit the Library Service Desk on level 7 for assistance with borrowing and general Library enquiries.
  • Find information on all UTS services for students via Supporting Online Study.
